Amoxycillin Trihydrate 150 mg
Description :
Amoxycillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin with a broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative micro-organisms .
The bactericidal action is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Amoxycillin is mainly excreted in urine. A major part can also be excreted in bile.
Indications :
Gastrointestinal, respiratory and uro-genital infections caused by Amoxycillin sensitive micro-organisms.
Secondary bacterial infection in cases of viral diseases .
(in cattle, goats, and sheep)
Contraindication :
- Hypersensitivity Amoxycillin.
- Animals with renal or liver failure.
Side effects :
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Interactions :
Should not be administrated with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides .
Usage :
For intramuscular injection
Shake well before use
Dosage :
The general dosage is: 1 ml per 15 kg body weight once a day for 3 days.
In sever cases the dose can be duplicated without fear of toxication .
Withdrawal period :
Meat : 14 days Milk : 3 days
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight.
