Description :
Ivermectin is an anti-parasites which acts against a broad-spectrum of internal and external parasites .
Ivermectin acts by interfering with nerve transmission in the parasite,
causing its paralysis and subsequent death .
Clorsulon is a compound belonging to the benzenesulphonamide family which is recommended for the treatment and control of liverflukes.
It acts by inhibition the metabolism of Glycogen which is essential in providing the liver fluke by energy
Indications :
treatment and control of internal and external parasites (in Camel, cattle and sheep) :
- Gastrointestinal Roundworms
- Lungworms
- Oesterasis
- Liver Flukes: Fasciola hepatica
- Sucking Lice
- Mange Mites (cattle scabies)
Contraindications :
Animals producing milk for human consumption.
Usage :
For subcutaneous injection only.
Dosage :
The general dose : 1 ml per 50 kg body weight
Precaution:
Avoid intravenous or intramuscular use.
Withdrawal Period :
Meat : 35 days .
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight .
