Composition :

Each jar of 100 g contains:

Spectinomycin Sulphate             44.5 g

Lincomycin Hydrochloride           22.2 g

Description :

The combination of lincomycin and spectinomycin acts additive and in some cases synergistic. Spectinomycin acts bacteriostatic or bactericidal, depending on the dose, against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Mycoplasma and Salmonella . Lincomycin acts bacteriostatic against mainly Gram-positive bacteria like Mycoplasma, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus .

Indications :

In Poultry for the treatment and prevention of Chronic respiratory disease CRD and to increases the rate of body gain.

Contraindications:

  • hypersensitivity to Spectinomycin and/or Lincomycin .
  • animals with renal or liver failure .
  • not for hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Side effects :

Hypersensitivity reaction .

Interactions:

Should not be used concomitantly with Penicillins, Cephalosporines or Quinolones .

Usage :

Oral with drinking water

Dosage :

100 g per 125 liter of drinking water, give as the sole source of drinking water for flocks of 5-7 days old .

Withdrawal Period :

Meat : 7 days .   

Storage conditions :

Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight .
