Composition :
Each injector of 10 g contains :
Penicillin G Procaine 300 mg
Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate 200 mg
Description :
Penicillin, an antibiotic has a strong bactericidal activity against Gram-positive as it destroys the Bacteria cell wall.
Dihydrostreptomycin is active against Gram-negative bacteria .
The combination of the two materials results in a broad spectrum remedy against the most bacteria species .
Indications :
PENCILLATE M is indicated for treatment of mastitis caused by micro-organisms, susceptible to Penicillin and Dihydrostreptomycin, in dairy cattle, ewes, mares, and she-camels.
Usage :
For intra-mammary treatment
Evacuate the udder completely.
Wash the udder and teats thoroughly with warm water containing suitable disinfectant, then infuse the content of the injector in the infected quarter or half, then massage the whole udder to allow the medicine to go through the milk ducts .
Dosage :
Cows, she-camels and mares : 1 injector in the infected quarter or half, twice daily, for 3 days .
Ewes: half injector in the infected half, twice daily, for 3 days
Withdrawal period :
Meat: 5 days, Milk: 3 days.
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight.
