Amoxycillin Trigydrate 6 g
Cloxacillin Sodium 4 g
Description :
Cloxacillin is a specific antibiotic against micro-organisms which show resistance to Pencillin G like Staphylococcus which causes most Mastitis cases .
Amoxycillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin with a broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative micro-organisms .
The bactericidal action is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Amoxycillin is mainly excreted in urine. A major part can also be excreted in bile.
Indications :
Mastitis, Metritis, Gastrointestinal and uro-genital infections caused by Amoxycillin and/or Cloxacillin sensitive micro-organisms.
(in camels, horses, cattle, goats, and sheep)
Contraindication :
- Hypersensitivity Amoxycillin and / or Cloxacillin
- Animals with renal or liver failure.
Side effects :
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Usage :
For intramuscular and intramammary injection
- Dilute the content of vial with sterilized water till 50 ml
- for intramammary injection : Milk out the udder completely, wash thoroughly with warm water containing suitable disinfectant.
- Shake well before use
Dosage :
Intramuscular injection :
Camels, horses and cattle : 25 ml per animal twice daily for 4 days
Sheep and goats : 7 ml per animal twice daily for 4 days
Intramammary injection :
Camels, horses and cattle: 10 ml per quarter or half for 3 days
Sheep and goats: 3-5 ml for per half for 3 days
Withdrawal period :
Meat : 30 days Milk : 10 days
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight.
