Composition :

Each sachet of 100 g contains :

Doxycycline Hydrochloride     50 g

Description :

Doxycycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like, Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.

Doxycycline is also active against Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Rickettsia.

The action of doxycycline is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Doxycycline has a great affinity to the lungs and is therefore especially useful for treatment of bacterial respiratory infections.

Indications :

DOXYCYCLINE PLUS is indicated in poultry for the treatment of the gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro-organism susceptible to Doxycycline, especially : Bronchitis, Sinusitis, Air sac infections, Coryza, and Arthritis.
