Description :
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones and acts bactericidal against both gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. It is also active against Mycoplasma.
Indications :
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections, like pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis, colisepticemia and salmonellosis. Secondary bacterial infections as a result of viral infections, like bovine respiratory disease complex.
Contraindications :
- Hypersensitivity to Enrofloxacin
- Animals with liver or renal failure
Usage :
For intramuscular and subcutaneous injection
Dosage :
Horse, Camel, Cattle & Sheep: 1 ml per 40 kg body weight for 4-5 consecutive days .
Dogs: 0.5 ml per 1 kg body weight for 4-5 consecutive days .
Withdrawal period :
Meat : 14 days . Milk : 7 days .
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight .
