Description:
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones and acts bactericidal against both gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. It is also active against Mycoplasmas.
Indications:
Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections, caused by micro-organisms susceptible to enrofloxacin (pasteurella, salmonella, mycoplasma, E-coli, Campylobacter, and Haemophilus) in Ruminants and Poultry.
Contraindications:
hypersensitivity to Enrofloxacin
animals with hepatic or renal failure
Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Interactions:
Not to be administrated together with Tetracyclines, Chloramphenicol, Macrolides and Lincosamides.
Usage:
Oral With Drinking Water
Dosage:
Poultry: 100 ml per 200 liter for 3-4 days .
Ruminants: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight for 3-4 days.
Withdrawal period :
Ruminants: Meat: 7 days Milk: 3 Days
Poultry: Meat: 4 days Eggs: 3 days.
Storage conditions:
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight
