Each sachet of 100 g contains :
Erythromycin Thiocyanate 25 g
Colistin Sulphate 2.5 g
Description :
Erythromycin is a macrolide that acts bacteriostatic against mainly Gram-positive bacteria like Mycoplasma, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp.
It has its effects by prohibiting the synthesis of protein in the bacterial cell.
It is absorbed rapidly by intestines and goes through the tissues and excreted by urea and bile.
Colistin is an antibiotic from the group of polymyxins with a bactericidal action against Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella. Since colistin is absorbed for a very small part after oral administration, only gastrointestinal indications are relevant.
Indications :
Poultry: It is indicated for treatment of infections caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive becteria (E-Coli, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, Brucella)
It is also indicated in treatment of CRD, Synovitis, Sinisitis, enteritis, Salmonellosis, Stress conditions.
Other Animals: It is indicated for treatment of enteritis accompanied by diarrhea.
Usage :
Oral with drinking water
Dosage :
Poultry :
Prevention : 100 gram per 200 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Treatment: 100 gram per 100 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Other Animals:
25 gram per 50 kg body weight each 12 hours for 3 days.
Withdrawal period :
Poultry : Meat: 3 days Eggs :2 days.
Other animals: Meat: 5 days Milk :2 days.
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight
