Description:
Florfenicol is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Florfenicol acts by inhibiting protein synthesis in the microbe cell .
Indications:
Cattle and Sheep: respiratory infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative micro-organisms (mainly: Pasteurella Hymolytica and Pasteurella Multicida.
Calves: Salmonella infection .
Poultry: Gastrointestinal infections, coryza, complex respiratory disease .
Contraindications:
Avoid administration to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
Interactions:
Not to be administrated together with Penicilins .
Usage:
Oral administration
Dosage:
Cattle: 75 ml per animal for 3 days .
Calves and Sheep: 15 ml per animal for 4 days .
Poultry: 200 ml per 200 liter of water for 4 days .
Withdrawal period:
Ruminants: Meat: 10 days Milk: 4 days
Poultry: Meat: 7 days
Storage conditions:
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight
