Composition :

Each 1 ml contains :

Gentamycin Sulphate        100 mg         

Description :

Gentamycin is one of aminoglycocides antibiotic group .

It is effective in a wide range of bacterial infections.

It affects gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria

It is well absorbed after sub-cut & IM Injection

Indications :

GENTAGECT 10% is recommended for the control of bacterial infections of urinary tract infections (Cystitis & Nephritis), respiratory tract infections (pneumonia and Tracheobronchitis), septicemia, neonatal sepsis, neonatal meningitis, soft tissue infections and wounds .

In camels, cattle, calves, sheep and goats

Contraindication :

  • Not to be used in renal failure cases.
  • Not to be given with muscle relaxant.

Usage :

For intramuscular injection

Dosage :

The general dose : 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight .

Withdrawal period :

Meat 20 days - Milk : 10 days

Storage conditions :

Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect  from direct sunlight.

Packing :

Vial of 50 & 100 ml.
