Composition :

Each 1 ml contains :

Oxytetracyline Dihydrate         300 mg

Flunixin Meglumin                   20 mg

Description :

Oxytetracycline is a member of the tetracyclines family which has a broad spectrum by inhibiting protein synthesis in susceptible micro-organisms.

Flunixin meglumine is a  relatively potent non-narcotic,non-steroidal anti-inflammatory with analgesic, anti-endotoxic and anti-pyretic properties.

Indications

Hexamin L.A is indicated for :

  • respiratory diseases especially that caused by Pastuerella Haemolytica and Mycoplasma
  • uro-genital and Digestive Diseases
  • In treatment of lameness and hoof diseases
  • used as anti-pyretic and analgesic

Contraindication :

- Not to be used in Horses

- Not to be used in animals suffering from cardiac, liver or Renal disease .

- Not to be used in animals producing milk for human consumption.

Usage:

For deep intramuscular injection.

Dosage :

The general dose :1 ml per 10 kg body weight

Maximum volume per injection site: 15 ml, if concurrent treatment is administered, use a separate injection site.

Warnings

Avoid intra-venous injection.

Withdrawal period :

meat : 35 days

Storage conditions :

Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight.

Packing :

Vial of 100 ml.
