Rafoxanide 75 mg
Description :
Rafoxanide is from salicylanilide group, it is active against adult and immature flukes aged 6-8 weeks and older.
It also affects the nasal bot fly in sheep .
Rafoxanide is an uncoupler of the mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation resulting in inhibition of the ATP-synthesis.
Indications :
Used for the treatment and control of acute and chronic Fascioliasis in sheep and cattle .
And for the removal of all larval stages of (Oestrus ovis),in the nasal bot fly of sheep .
Usage :
For subcutaneous injection
Dosage :
Cattle and sheep : 1 ml per 25 KG body weight and should be repeated after 3 weeks
Precautions :
- Milk produced during treatment period should be discarded .
- Dose should not exceed 45mg/kg body weight in cattle, 65 mg/kg body weights in sheep & goat.
Withdrawal period :
Meat 28 days.
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight, freezing should be avoided.
