Composition:

Toltrazuril 25 mg
Description:
Toltrazuril is an anticoccidial with activity against Eimeria spp. in poultry:
- Chicken: Eimeria acervulina, brunetti, maxima, mitis, necatrix and tenella .
- Turkey: Eimeria adenoides, galloparonis and meleagrimitis.
Indications:
Coccidiosis of all stages of Eimeria spp. in chickens and turkeys.
Contraindications:
- Animals with hepatic or renal failure
- Avoid administration to poultry producing eggs for human consumption
Side effects:
At high dosages in laying-hens egg-drop and in broilers growth inhibition and polyneuritis can occur.
Usage:
Oral With Drinking Water
Dosage:
- 200 ml per 200 liter of drinking water for continuous medication over 48 hours, or
- 600 ml per 200 liter of drinking water given for 8 hours per day, on 2 consecutive days.
Withdrawal period:
Chicken: Meat: 21 days
Turkey: Meat: 18 days
Storage conditions:
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight .
