Composition :
Each ml contains:
Tylosin Tartrate 200 mg
Description :
Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, is active against particularly gram-positive bacteria, some Spirochetes (including Leptospira), Actinomyces, Mycoplasmas, Haemophilus pertussis, and some gram-negative cocci.
After parenteral administration, therapeutically active blood concentrations of Tylosin are reached within two hours.
Indications :
Infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to Tylosin : (in cattle, calves, sheep, goats)
- respiratory tract infections.
- dysentery
- arthritis
- mastitis
- shipping fever
- pneumonia
- foot rot
- bronchitis
- post surgery operation infections
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Tylosin .
Interactions:
Avoid administration with penicillines, cephalosporines, or quinolones
Usage :
For intramuscular injection
Dosage :
The general dose is: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight daily for 3-5 days.
Withdrawal Period :
Meat : 10 days Milk : 4 days .
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight .
