Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
Amoxicillin trihydrate 150 mg
Gentamycin sulphate 40 mg
Description :
Amoxycilin is a broad spectrum antibiotic and has an effects similar to Ampicillin .
Its effects is by analyzing the synthesis of the cell wall .
Gentamycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic affects a variety of Gram positive and Gram negative micro-organisms, so it's effective in most common infections especially respiratory and uro-genital ones and in cases of bacterial septicemia .
The association of gentamycin and amoxicillin, will allow them to act synergistically making this product to have a high bioavailability, reaching long lasting therapeutical concentrations in blood .
Indications:
Sheep, Goats and Cattle: Pneumonia, Diarrhoea, Bacterial enteritis, Pasteurellosis, Coliba-Cillosis, Mastitis, Metritis and Cutaneous abscesses
Horses: Pneumonia, Diarrhoea, Bacterial enteritis, Genito-urinary infections, Strangles, Cuta-neous abscesses and Foot infections.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Penicillines and/or aminoglycocides .
Not to be used for animals with renal failure .
Usage :
Available intramuscular injection
- in large dose cases : inject in more than one site .
- Shake well before use
Dosage :
Sheep and Goats: 5 to 10 ml per adult animal; and 1 to 5 ml per young animal.
Cattle: 30 to 40 ml per adult animal; and 10 to 15 ml per calf.
Horses: 30 to 50 ml per adult animal; and 5 to 15 ml per foal.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Penicillines and/or aminoglycocides .
Not to be used for animals with renal failure .
Withdrawal time:
Meat: 30 days Milk: 2 days
Storage conditions :
Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight.
