Composition :

Each sachet of 100 g contains :

Ampicillin Trihydrate     50 g

Description :

Ampicillin is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with bactericidal action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The range of effect includes Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.
The bactericidal action is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis.

Ampicillin is mainly excreted in urine. A major part can also be excreted in bile.

Indications :

AMPICILLIN PLUS is indicated in poultry for the treatment of the gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by micro-organism susceptible to Ampicllin .
