Composition :

Each 1 ml contains:

Sulfamerazine      100 mg

Sulphadiazine       60 mg

Sulfathiazole         40 mg

Trimethoprim         40 mg

Description :

The combination of Trimethoprim and three types of Sulphonamides acts synergistically against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria .

Indications :

  • Gastrointestinal, urinary and respiratory infections caused by trimethoprim and sulphonamides sensitive micro-organisms.
  • Septicemia
  • Wounds infections

 in horses, cattle, sheep and goats.

Contraindication :

  • Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulphonamides.
  • Animals with a renal or liver failure .

Side effects :

  • Hypersensitivity reaction .
  • After long-term treatment and high dosages crystalluria can occur.

Usage :

For intramuscular injection .

Dosage :

Horses, cattle, sheep and goats : 2 ml per 25 kg body weight, twice daily for 4-5 days

Withdrawal Period :

Meat : 5 days     Milk : 3 days

Storage conditions :

Store in airtight containers, in a moderate temperature (15-25 C) and protect from direct sunlight .
